The 3 Irish Open is set to be bigger than ever this year and will take place at the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club from the 29th July to the 1st August 2010.  This will be the third time that Killarney has hosted the Irish Open following consecutive events in 1991 and ’92. The event's new prime slot on the European Tour over the August Bank Holiday weekend elevates the 3 Irish Open to the position of one of the most prestigious tournaments in European golf. The event will be staged on the Killeen course, just weeks before the naming of the European Ryder Cup team and is sure to attract golf's marquee names to Killarney.

Killarney - Mahony's Point
Length: 6164 m / 6780 yards Par: 72 SSS: 72
The shortest of the three courses at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, Mahony's Point has spectacular views of Killarney's famous lakes and the McGillicuddy Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland. The final three holes are breathtaking as you play towards the lake with the 18th described as "one of the most memorable holes in Golf", a par three of nearly 200 yards that requires a huge carry across the corner of the lake. Discover for yourself why the 18th is the most photographed in the world. It is considered to be the most scenic and friendly of the three courses, it presents an enjoyable challenge to golfers of all standards, the combination of undulating greens, well positioned bunkers and water hazards ensure that there is enough danger to spoil a good round.

Killarney - Killeen

Killeen is very much the flagship course at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club.  Killarney's famed scenery provides an imposing backdrop to this Championship course. Re-opened in June 2006 the course is slightly longer with faster greens that have been brought closer to the water hazards around the course. It will challenge long hitters with accuracy being vital, as there is water on virtually every hole. Nick Faldo on winning The Irish Open in 1991 was one of only three players to finish under par. The challenging golf is matched by the spectacular views with the 10th being a firm favourite where you are playing virtually onto the lake. Killeen plays host to the 3 Irish Open from July 29th to August 1st 2010.

Killarney - Lackabane
Length: 6410 m / 7050yds Par: 72 SSS: 72
Lackabane is the newest of the three courses at the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club. This parkland course opened officially for play in 2000. Lakes and streams are a feature throughout the course, adding beauty and danger in equal measure. At 6410 metres off the very back tees the long game will be tested to the full, as competitors in the 2002 Ladies Irish Open and the European Ryder Cup Challenge Tour participants experienced in 2005. This course is suited to mid to low handicap golfers and is an excellent test of the long game.

Beaufort
Length: 6587yds Par: 71
This course presents magnificent views of the world famous MacGillycuddy Reeks from all points. The natural drainage of the site and the exceptionally mild climate of south west Ireland guarantees enjoyable golf throughout the year. Beaufort Golf Course is an 18 hole Championship Standard par 71. The Course measures 6587yds from the medal tees and 5310yds from the ladies tees.

The Ross
Length: 6514m Par: 72 9 hole course
Ross Golf Club is a nine-hole 3300 yard course including water and woodland features, and great lush greens. The clubhouse has uninterrupted 180 degree mountain, woodland lake and castle panorama, one of the great vistas of Irish Golf.

Gap of Dunloe

Dunloe Golf Course is set against the glaciated valley of the Gap of Dunloe, and it offers spectacular views of Killarney's lakes and mountains from every hole. If the visitor feels like practising before or after a game, the adjoining golf complex of 30 indoor and outdoor driving bays, a large 18 hole putting green, chipping, pitching and bunker practice areas and offers practice facilities second to none.

CRAZY GOLF
NEW for 2010 is a unique miniature golf course at the Dunloe Golf Course. Modelled on the mountains and lakes of the Killarney Valley and built to a scale of 1:660, this 18-hole miniature golf course traces an exciting journey through the great glens and mountain passes of the region with holes located at the various antiquities and historical sites such as Ross and Dunloe Castles, ring-forts, ancient monasteries and megalithic monuments of the valley.
