The trails go through the Killarney National Park, north of Lough Lein, taking in views of Ross Castle and Ross Island, panoramic views of Innisfallen Island & surrounding mountains. All rides are supervised by guides with special care taken of nervous or beginner riders, all levels of riding experience are catered for. Children must be 8 years old and upwards.

| The Kerry Way – Killarney National Park |

This leg of the Kerry Way is all within Killarney National Park, habitat of the only pure herd of Irish Red Deer. Starting in the ancient oak woods of Derrycunnihy, you can walk the line of the Old Kenmare Road, regarded in medieval times as the most westerly route in the world! Cores Cascade could be the ideal lunch stop in the moor/bogland beneath Mangerton and Torc mountains. Views and opportunities for photographs continue on the descent beside the spectacular Torc Cascade and the stroll by Muckross Lake into the gardens of Muckross House (19th century mansion), with its welcoming teashop. There is the option of extending the walk to visit to the ruins of Muckross Friary (15th century).

This ascent of Ireland’s highest-and most majestic mountain peak begins with a hike along the valley floor of An Com Caili, or The Hag’s Glen beneath the main Ridge of the Reeks. The route takes a series of three hanging valleys spectacularly located below the north face of the mountains. On a clear day, the views are unsurpassable over the south western corner of Ireland.

| Rock Climbing – The Gap of Dunloe |

The crags of the Gap are home to some three hundred rock climbs of varying grades of difficulty and ranging from short, single pitch climbs to long multi-pitch routes on wild mountain cliffs. These climbs are led by local climbers and guides who have been centrally involved in establishing the Gap of Dunloe as a major climbing venue.

| Purple and Tomies Mountains Hill Walking |

This hill/mountain hike traverse the mountains forming the east side of the rugged Gap of Dunloe pass. Ascending from the Head of The Gap, the walk is ascends gradually to the summit of Purple via the tiny Glas Loch (green lake) with spectacular views over the Killarney Valley and wider South West. The lofty peak of Tomies is one of the finest vantage points in the district.

From the lush and sheltered inlet of Kells Bay, this spectacular section of the long-distance walking route traverses the slopes of sacred Drung Hill. Following an early medieval track the way provides expansive views over Dingle Bay and Peninsula while taking the walker through landscapes rich in archaeology and myth.

| Gap of Dunloe – Killarney Valley Day Trip |

We go on horseback or carriage through the Gap of Dunloe, hewn two million years ago by giant, slow moving ice. Looking out at Serpent's Lake where legend has it that St Patrick imprisoned the last of the great snakes. Here we change to boats to float down the first of Killarney's three famous lakes, the Upper Lake. This lake is surrounded by a huge natural oak woodland.

You walk from the seaside village of Glenbeigh, ascending gradually to circle Seefin Mountain. Views over Dingle Bay and Lough Caragh reward you and give scope to the photographer. Stroll downwards into the lush valley of the Caragh River in storied Glencar. Blackstones Bridge could be the ideal luncheon spot before continuing through Drombrane Wood and along the banks of the Caragh River to finish.
