Killarney RegattaSunday, 29th June
The 223rd annual Killarney Regatta takes place on Sunday, 29th June at O' Mahony's Point, Killarney Golf and Fishing Club commencing at 10.45am. Come and witness one of Ireland's oldest sporting traditions and be part of the longest running regatta in the world, as Killarney's oarsmen and women do battle on Lough Leane.
Feel your heart pound and and be part of the suspense as you urge on the warriors of the lake. The stakes are high, the races long and the battles fierce! Enjoy a great day out with on-shore entertainment throughout the day. For the kids, a fun day is in store on the bouncing castle and high slide. A fun day for all the family!

Ring of Kerry Charity CycleSaturday, 5th July
Starting point from outside the International Hotel at 8.00am
A highlight for cycling enthusiasts all over the country, the Ring of Kerry Cycle boasts some of the most beautiful scenery to be enjoyed on its 112 mile route. Now celebrating its 25th year this cycle has been the catalyst for raising over €1.6 million for local charities to date. With resting points throughout the route all are welcome to participate at their own pace. There is no entry fee but participants are asked to take a sponsorship card and help support local charities in their great work. |

Killarney Summerfest Balloon MeetFriday, 11th July, Saturday, 12th July and Sunday, 13th July
Having established itself as one of the unique highlights of the last two years programmes, we now have another opportunity to see these most spectacular balloons take flight as they take to the skies from their picturesque launching site at Killarney Racecourse.
Launch times are before 7.30am and after 8.00pm on both days. Please note this event is dependent on suitable weather conditions. |

Killarney is a walkers paradise with walks available to suit all ages and level of fitness. Make sure to take in at least one of the walks available during your stay in Killarney. Killarney Summerfest 5km Fun RunIn Association with Britvic and Radio Kerry
Date: Saturday, 19th July @ 2.30pm |
Walk, skip or run this 5Km route that will take you through the surrounds of Killarney National Park. All the family young and old are asked to come out and support the Radio Kerry Community Fund that helps local groups throughout the county. By simply entering your sponsorship card and joining in the fun you will be in with a chance to win a selection of wonderful prizes with balloons and goodie bags given to all participants on the day. The run will start at the Killarney Plaza Hotel. |
