A highlight in the racing calendar, come and enjoy four days of great racing in one of Ireland’s most beautiful courses. Enjoy the thrills of racing with live music each day after racing, big screen viewing and fantastic competitions ensuring four days of exciting entertainment for all.
The 15 miles (24.14 km) race will start in Molls gap and continue along the spectacular ring of Kerry road the N71. The dramatic route takes you back towards Killarney Town passing the rugged landscape of the national park and the Lakes of Killarney. The challenging course is varied in its gradients but extremely rewarding. The race will finish in the grounds of the world famous Muckross House.
Buses will transport participants from Muckross House overflow car park to the start line. Finalised car parking details will be emailed to all participants prior to the race. Online registration and further information are available at www.maximarathonkillarney.com.

SOUTH KERRY JUVENILE HURLING PROMOTION
Date: Friday 23rd July at 6:30pm
As part of the South Kerry Juvenile hurling board's summer 2010 hurling promotions campaign, a hurling evening will be held on July 23rd which offers a unique opportunity to witness one of the world's oldest and most skilful games in the heart of Killarney. This will give locals and visitors alike, a great chance to see this legendary sport at close quarters. The speed, skills and the clash of the ash are all part of this game and it can be enjoyed in the beautiful setting with Killarneys beautiful Cathedral as a backdrop. This promises to be a very interesting and fun evening for all and everyone is welcome. Visitors will be particularly welcomed and encouraged to try their hand at this game of skill by participating in a fun “Poc Fada” (longest shot) or “Shoot for Points” fun drills.
The games will be held in the St Brendan's College field beside the Cathedral and will commence at 6.30pm and finish at 8.30pm.
Killarney Summerfest 5km Fun Run
Date: Saturday, 24th July @ 7pm
Starting beside the Killarney Plaza Hotel walk, skip or run this 5 Km route that will take you through the surrounds of Killarney National Park. All the family young and old are encouraged to enjoy this fun event together.
Prizes for Seniors, Masters, and Junior categories - both male and female and also a Fancy Dress Section. Presentation of prizes will take place in the Killarney Plaza Hotel afterwards with a House DJ starting at 9.30pm.
Entries taken on the day at the Killarney Plaza Hotel from 5pm. Entry Fee: €10

Crazy Golf - Gap of Dunloe
