Presents a feast of entertainment for week long Street Festival! Each evening the picturesque streets of Killarney will come to life for a week of free street entertainment as every type of performer imaginable will descend to entertain all the family. Music performances will include Samba Bands, Brass bands, gifted traditional Irish musicians, Capoeira Dancers and a hooley of a Ceili, which will see dancing on the streets of Killarney.

"An evening of Sunshine Music" ~ will get proceedings off with a bang with Brazilian and African drums banging out the beats for a vibrant and gravity defying display by Brazilian Capoeira dancers. The pulsating drummers will beat out a dazzling performance of African beats and a very special invite to all of the audience to try their hands in the magnificent "Drum Dance Ireland Drum Circle". It's your chance to play along with the professionals.

"A Feast of Brass" ~ will feature with the local musicians of the Gleneagle Band blowing up a storm. Their guests will be the Blarney Brass Band.

"Summer Youth night" will see the finest local youth groups perform contemporary and Irish traditional music. Spraoi Chiarrai (a local Traditional Music) collective will present Irish Traditional music and Dance and maybe even a story or two. Members of "Teen Spirit" with Cathal Flaherty and Band will perform songs for their massively successful recent shows at the INEC.

“KILLARNEY FUNFEST” ~ The Killarney Summerfest Street Programme swings into overdrive from 6pm to 10pm each evening from Thursday 28th July to Sunday 31st July and is set to enthral all the family as a myriad of street performers bring four fun filled evenings of laughter and delight. With Music, Magic, Laughter, fun and zany frolics at every corner, Killarney Summerfest will ensure free festive fun for all the Family.
A free music stage on Killarney’s Main Street will also see song and dance on Killarneys Main Street. Highlights include a “Summer Céilí” presented by Killarney Comhaltas on Thursday evening which will see some of Kerrys finest dancers strutting it out on Killarneys Main Street. Friday the Main Stage will be in full flight with energetic Liam O’Connor & Band headlining. Saturday will feature The Band of An Garda Siochana in concert. After all that if you still have energy left, Sunday finishes off with an evening of powerful vocal sounds from The Dublin Gospel Choir.
